One of the aims of CRCB is to improve the transparency of the public procurement in EU and to help the researchers, the journalists and other stakeholders have access to public procurement data. The database created by CRCB contains contract level data of public procurement of Zagreb from January 2011 to September 2017 with balance sheet data of the winner companies.

The project was commissioned for the Centre for Peace Studies, Zagreb. The research carried out by CRCB for the CMS is based on the analysis of 5,922 contracts of 4,483 public procurement issued by Grad Zagreb and Zagreb Holding between 2011 and 2016. During the data extraction, we could identify 1,197 winner companies on these tenders which are also the subject of the investigation.
